E' un itinerario piuttosto impegnativo, sia per la ripida salita che dal fondovalle porta fino al passo Fittanze, sia per il sentiero 111 che si percorre in discesa, con alcuni tratti tecnici e ripidi. In compenso, arrivati a monte Castelberto, si potrà godere di una fantastica vista sulla valle dell'Adige e tutti i monti circostanti . Molto bella anche la strada che dal passo Fittanze percorre l'altipiano fino al monte di Castelberto
Fare attenzione alla discesa fatta in primavera, perché ricoperta di molte foglie accumulate in inverno
