PREMESSA
L'itinerario si sviluppa completamente in territorio sloveno e percorre strade sterrate e sentieri del ciglione e dello stupendo altopiano carsico di Komen/Comeno.
Tra le particolarità del percorso segnaliamo sicuramente i vastissimi panorami che spaziano dal Mare Adriatico alla Pianura Padana alle Alpi e che si susseguono come un'esposizione pittorica. Singolare il fatto che dal punto di partenza fino alla vetta del Trstelj, se si esclude la Torre di Miren/Merna , lungo il tracciato non si incontra alcun edificio (sono ben 13,4 km); la natura regna incontaminata e, specialmente nei primi chilometri, è facile incontrare qualche capriolo.
Caratteristici e vivi sono i vari borghi dell'altopiano che si attraversano dopo la veloce discesa dal M. Trstelj e che hanno molto da raccontare riguardo le vicende della Prima Guerra Mondiale visto che si trovavano nelle immediate retrovie del fronte. A ricordo di quelle tristi vicende è stata realizzata la rete dei Sentieri della Pace sul Carso (Proti Miru Na Krasu) .
Eccoci qui a descrivere ancora un'altro pezzo di terra dell'Isontino che non ha nulla da spartire con le altre aree descritte dagli altri itinerari. Qualcosa che rende veramente unico il nostro territorio.

INTRODUCTION
The route is fully developed in Slovenia and along dirt roads and trails on the ridge and the beautiful karst plateau of Komen / Comeno.
Among the special highlight of the trail definitely the vast landscapes ranging from the Adriatic Sea to the Po Valley to the Alps and that are followed as an exhibition of painting. Remarkable that from the starting point to the peak of Trstelj, if we exclude the Tower of Miren / Merna, along the path does not meet any building (they are 13.4 km); and unspoiled nature reigns, especially in the first few miles, it is easy to see some deer.
Characteristic and experience are the various villages of the plateau that you cross after the fast descent from M. Trstelj and who have much to tell about the events World War I saw that you were in the immediate rear of the front. In memory of those sad events was made the network of the Paths of Peace in the Karst (Proti Na Miru Krasu).
Here we describe yet another piece of land Isontino that has nothing to do with the other areas described by other routes. Something that makes our area unique.
