Routenbeschreibung

Challenging round for both technical and fatigue, which runs between the two sides of the Muggio Valley and along some paths of Generoso Marathon (green and white stickers along the way, except for the part of the Alpe Horn).
From Castel San Pietro, Obino direction; from here you can take the trail of Caviano, who with but challenging slopes on a fairly compact leads us in 3 km (average slope 15%) Alpe Caviano. From here a couple of miles with a few piece of mule but less steep and unpaved sections you reach the turning for the path of the Plantations (big yellow sign on the right with different directions, direction Muggio).
The descent is a acronyms fast track to the coast, a little 'exposed but always in the woods, on a compact, tight hairpins but also feasible without nose press. Attention to some curve in the lower part of the various streams in the vicinity, a little 'isidiosa.
Along the trail you will find several detours, but stay on the main and you'll find yourself on the road that goes up to Obino Cabbio.
Take left on asphalt, and soon after began the Wall Cabbio: a suffering km on asphalt, slope above the 20% Off
Arriavti on cantonal, you enter in Cabbio direction Bonello. The second climb of the ride is much more pedaling than the first, although it does have some tears in the beginning.
Just below the pasture is cut the bend in the grass to the right and close to the border turn right on a path wider and rocky that brings us to the crossroads in the grassy area. Take a left onto a single track that part down in the woods, on a compact with some rocky stretch by foot uphill. It comes in a pine forest under the Refuge Prabello.
From here it follows the coast to the right and below the Sasso Gordon a very exposed and veramnete single path, not always pedaled, but in a few minutes brings us to the beginning of the second descent, Alp Horn. Once on the saddle, turn right, first on the grass, which then becomes steep and enter the woods. The single from here it becomes technical, with narrow passages between trees, fast stretches of land, tight switchbacks (no impossible without nose press), especially after the farm that you will spend taking the left. The last part is more open, but do not take too much speed because the hairpin is waiting around the corner!
Past the bridge on the river, go up and take the track: you are in the Valley of the Crotta.
From here short climb again, and then go downhill and get to Bruzella. Go through the village (always down holding the left) and go back on the cantonal, who indulges in Caneggio then, in the parking lot after the village. From here there is a fun and technical single track, downhill before (do not take the first fork!) Down to the river, with passage of the narrow bridge, and then up and down on large-cart track (signposted MTB). This leads to Morbio, and then on asphalt in Castel San Pietro.
