PREMESSA

INTRODUCTION
The ascent to Mount Sabotino, anywhere one wants to deal with, it's still a nice firm (the slopes are very pronounced). The satisfaction, however, will try after so much effort will be immense, because the Sabotino is an extraordinary place. The vast panorama that stretches from the valley of Vipacco, the Carso, the Friulian plain, the Adriatic Sea, in Collio, the Alpine range, close to the Isonzo and the plateau of Tarnova is something unique. The whole mountain is full of memories left by important historical events that have marked these places: the battles of World War I, of which there are trenches and tunnels dug by the Austro-Hungarian gunboats (some passable with ease as equipped and illuminated directly by the light of the sun), and the Iron Curtain that passed right to the line of the summit and of which I am witness to the two barracks Yugoslav and Italian and, until a few years ago, the barbed wire and barbed wire. Posthumous witness the events of war of World War II, a sort of duty to the defeat, is the so-called Road of Osimo, a road that connects two locations in Slovenia today but through Italian territory. Very interesting site-century hermitage of St. Valentine. And for those who love the blooms, June is a great month.
The itinerary includes cross-border encroachment by agricultural Valentine pass, that before the entry of Slovenia into the Schengen area could be overcome only by holders of a special passes, along a stretch of road Osimo, climbs to the scenic road Slovenian reaches the old barracks Yugoslav border into Italy, Italian touches the barracks, and the hermitage of St. Valentine, and finally with exciting descent, rather beaten, reaches the Soca Park, the starting point of this wonderful track.
