Giunta alla seconda edizione, dopo il buon successo della prima con circa 480 iscritti e 420 partenti e viste le condizione meteo proibitive dei giorni antecedenti la gara e la stessa domenica mattina sotto un autentico diluvio, rovinando i piani del Comitato Organizzativo, che non avrebbe mai immaginato nel Maggio elbano, solito a temperature miti pre-estive, il percorso ha subito alcune variazioni migliorative a completare quello che già di svariato offriva sia in termini di scenari panoramici, discese veloci, single track tecnici, sali e scendi continui, impegnativo visto il dislivello che offriva circa 1.700 m su 46 km.
