Descrizione:
Il percorso si svolge all’interno del Parco Naturale del Velino Sirente ed è interamente ciclabile. Qualche tratto di salita raggiunge pendenze impegnative che qualcuno potrà superare a piedi.
Come arrivare:
Per Aielli Alto da Aielli Stazione, prima del paese, giriamo a sx per il cimitero. Dopo aver superato il cimitero di circa mt.100 troviamo a dx un fontanile ed a sx inizia il nostro tracciato su un'ampia strada bianca.

Roadbook:
Dall'inizio del tracciato su strada bianca percorriamo m.500 e giungiamo ad un incrocio dove alla nostra sx c'è un fontanile. Proseguiamo dritti e facilmente subito dopo veniamo assaliti da una masnada di cani ospiti delle stalle circostanti; non preoccupiamoci troppo poichè sono tutti domestici e si divertono solo ad inseguire i passanti. Se sopravviviamo all'attacco canino cominciamo subito la salita.
A quota m.1480 ci fermiamo a prendere fiato ed a dissetarci presso la fonte l'Acquario prima di affrontare i cinque tornanti in località Vado Castello.(quota m.1550)
Dalla fine dei tornanti proseguiamo per m.800 e ci troviamo ad una biforcazione. Siamo nei prati di S.Maria.
Prendiamo a dx e seguitiamo a salire. Ci troviamo sul sentiero 13B del CAI. Tra quota m.1670 e 1770 affrontiamo l'ultima salita piuttosto dura. Alla fine di quest'ultima giriamo decisamente a sx e proseguiamo ancora facendo sù e giù fino a Fonte Monacesca e poi ancora fino a Fonte Caperno. Questo è il punto più alto del percorso: m.1857.
Da quì si comincia a scendere per una spassosissima strada molto frequentata. Ci ricongiungiamo con il sentiero CAI 13 e lo seguiamo fino a quota m.1730 dove giriamo repentinamente a sx (se proseguissimo dritti ci ritroveremmo a Val D'Arano nei pressi di Ovindoli).
Scendiamo ancora fino a trovarci nella parte più bassa dei prati. Quì il tracciato diventa erboso e poco evidente ma, tenendoci sulla sx ci ricongiungiamo con il percorso che abbiamo fatto all'andata. La discesa su
strada bianca battuta è un vero divertimento per gli amanti della velocità. Occhio alle vacche.
Alla fine siamo al punto di partenza, ricordiamoci dei cani.

Description: Available This event takes place inside the Natural Park of Velino and Sirente is entirely cycle. Some part of the climb reaches challenging slopes that someone will be able to overcome distance.
How to get there: To
by Aiello Aiello Alto station, before the village, turn left to the cemetery. After passing the cemetery of about mt.100 there is a spring on the right and left to start our route on a wide dirt road.

roadbook:
Since the beginning of the path we walk on gravel road for 500 m and arrive at a junction where there is a spring to our left. Go straight and easily immediately after we are assaulted by a gang of dogs guests stables surrounding; do not worry too much as they are all domestic and zombies chasing passers-by. If we survive the attack canine we start the climb.
A share m.1480 we stop to catch your breath and quench our thirst at the source of the Aquarium before tackling the five switchbacks in places I go to the Castle. (Share m.1550)
Since the end of the switchbacks we continue to m.800 and we are at a bifurcation. We are in the meadows of Santa Maria.
Take a right and we continue to climb. We are on the path 13B of the CAI. Between 1770 and share m.1670 take on the last climb pretty hard. At the end of the latter definitely turn left and continue still doing up and down until Monacesca Source and again until Caperno Source. This is the highest point of the trail: m.1857.
From here it starts to go down for a hilarious very busy road. We reunited with the CAI 13 and follow him up to share m.1730 where we turn sharply to the left (if proseguissimo straight we would end up in Val D'Arano near Ovindoli).
Still go down to visit us in the lower part meadows. Here the track becomes grassy and a little obvious, but keeping to the left we reunited with the way we did in the first leg. The descent on gravel road
joke is a real pleasure for lovers of speed. Watch out for cows.
At the end we are at the starting point, let us remember the dogs.
