I present another short but very challenging. The slope is raguardevole, the fund is compact but, in some places presents obstacles that make the bike snug and so it takes a lot of concentration when driving at low speeds.
ROADBOOK:
Departure from Piazza Castello to Avezzano .
along Via Napoli until you pass the level crossing.
Follow the road to the first bend to the left at the end of which you take the dirt road (see photo).
The ascent attacks immediately and not gives us respite to the top. You do not need a description of the layout as salt and nothing else. For a third of the climb there is a step that only very high tightrope can make pedaling. The repeaters are méta TV that can be seen from afar.
Once at the top we can fall back on the road that starts from the antennas or where we came from. But I would suggest you follow the track gps; that is, we take the way by which we arrived and we turn about halfway down on the left for a single track a lot of fun for lovers of speed and thrill. The beginning and very poor and in counter but then it becomes a convenient and compact way where you can drop in speed. The last section has a steep slope and you need to regain control.
We meet on the tarmac and we take the direction of Avezzano. We are on the Tiburtina Valeria, in the town, it becomes via Rome and ends in Piazza Castello where we started.
