Il giro si svolge sul lato sx orografico della Bassa Valle d'Aosta con delle belle vedute sul parco del mont Avic. Tra le due salite di ca 1000m dislivello la seconda e' quella piu' dura, ma la mulattiera che scende da La Cou un pendio che visto dal basso sembra non ciclabile vale le gocce di sudore versate lunga la ex-strada militare. E' consigliabile effettuare questa salita a fine estate in quanto in primavera le foglie rendono alquanto difficile l'avanzamento sulla parte piu' sconessa tra quota 950m e 1200m.
Il rientro avviene sulla statale, vale la pena fare la variante del Borgo di Bard.

The tour takes place on the orographic left side of the Lower Valle d'Aosta with beautiful views of the park of Mont Avic.
