Un percorso che si sviluppa interamente all’interno dello splendido scenario della Montagnola Senese, dove i sentieri di bosco si avvicendano a mulattiere e sterrate. Un continuo susseguirsi di impegnativi saliscendi, costeggiando cave di marmo tipiche della zona ed innumerevoli poderi in abbandono o ristrutturati. Tra le tappe più significative ed interessanti da segnalare, la breve deviazione ai ruderi del Romitorio di Motrano e il passaggio nei pressi dell’antico castello de La Suvera.
AVVERTENZE:
===========
1) nell’iniziale salita lungo il sentiero CAI n° 120, dovremo procedere a spinta in alcuni tratti causa le pessime condizioni del fondo;
2) giunti sulla sterrata per Molli, da percorrere per soli 200 Mt, si dovrà imboccare sulla Dx un viottolo su cui incontreremo quasi subito una bassa recinzione, facilmente superabile ma poco visibile;
3) se si decide di visitare il Romitorio di Motrano (sentiero CAI n° 109), tenere presente che la traccia si ferma in prossimità di un varco su un muro a secco. Si prosegue da qui diritto per circa 100 Mt rasentando vecchi muri, si supera una passerella in legno e siamo quindi a destinazione;
4) folta vegetazione lungo la parte finale del segmento Motrano-La Suvera;
5) discesa pericolosa nel tratto Gabbreta-Cetinale.

A path that runs entirely within the beautiful scenery of Montagnola, where the forest paths and mule take turns to dirt. A continuous succession of challenging ups and downs along the marble quarries typical of the area and countless farms abandoned or restructured. Among the most significant milestones and interesting to report, the short detour to the ruins of the hermitage of Motrano and the passage near the ancient castle of La Suvera.
WARNINGS:

==== 1) in the initial climb along the path CAI n ° 120, we will have to push in some places due to the poor condition of the fund;
2) arrived on the dirt road for Molli, to go for only 200 Mt, you will have to take a path on your right which will meet almost immediately a low fence, easily surmountable but little tangible
3) If you decide to visit the hermitage of Motrano (CAI n ° 109), note that the trace stops in the vicinity of an opening of a drywall. It continues to be right here for about 100 Mt verging on old walls, past a wooden walkway and we are at your destination;
4) thick vegetation along the final segment Motrano-La Suvera;
5) dangerous descent in the stretch-Gabbreta Cetinale.
