Da Isola del Gran Sasso si prende la vecchia strada che porta a San Pietro, un vero e proprio ascensore da fare con la bici in spalla(fondo scivoloso se bagnato).
In paese rifornirsi d'acqua. Si prosegue salendo su asfalto fino ad incontrare il Sentiero Italia 200, lo si imbocca sulla destra, diversi sali scendi poi bici in spalla fino ad incontrare un canale. Lo si percorre per diversi chilometri mantenendo quota 1000-1100 circa, si incontrano diverse deviazioni ma con il gps non ci sono problemi.
Superata la chiesa di San Nicola si procede sulla destra su un sentiero che sale e gira il versante, ancora qualche km poi a destra per una ripida discesa che porta ad un'oasi.
Si procede su una carrareccia che scende a Cerchiara, da qui si imbocca via S.Valentino fino ad Isola Del Gran Sasso.

From Isola del Gran Sasso take the old road leading to St. Peter, a real lift to do with the bike on his shoulder (slippery when wet).

We proceed on a track that descends to Cerchiara, from here you take away until Valentine Isola del Gran Sasso.
