Il percorso si snoda attraverso 3 boschi. Il primo nei pressi dell'Autostrada A26 all'altezza della galleria della Valsesia, il secondo vicino al sentiero della Mauletta, e il terzo vicino al monumento dei caduti a Sizzano.
