Partenza dal parcheggio dell'Hotel Euroterme di bagno di romagna. Si sale dalla strada asfalta che arriva fino al passo dei mandrioli, poco traffica e non troppo impegnativa. Arrivati al passo (circa 11km partendo dal parcheggio) si prende un sentiero (i primi metri ripidi e rocciosi sono difficili da pedalare) che ci porterà attraverso un bel single track all'interno del bosco (con qualche albero caduto che obbliga a qualche deviazione) e dopo un piccolo strappo in salita si arriva al passo Serra. A questo punto si scende tra tornanti e qualche gradone e si arriva fino ai vari 'passaggi lunari' su roccia, molto esposti.
Fino a qui il percorso è lo stesso del Nasseto/Zuccherodante classico e più conosciuto.
Prima di arrivare ai ruderi del Nasseto però c'è però una variante, a destra si intravede un sentiero.
Dopo una piccola discesa si trasforma in una salita abbastanza dura, con punte oltre al 20%, della durata di 10 di minuti circa. Finita la salita inizia un bel sentiero sulla sinistra all'interno del bosco, tutto curve. A differenza del Nasseto 'classico' questo è meno pietroso e più scorrevole. A questo punto c'è un altra piccola salita da fare su un tratto roccioso, abbastanza impegnativo (attorno al 20%) ma relativamente corto. Ci si rituffa all'interno del bosco, il sentiero è stretto ma veloce, con poche rocce. Qualche albero caduto in inverno ci obbliga a qualche taglio fuori dal sentiero. Alla fine si sbuca prima dei guadi che si sarebbero fatti facendo il Nasseto 'classico'.
Un gps è consigliato perchè il sentiero è poco battuto ed è segnalato solo in parte.

Departure from the hotel parking Euroterme bathroom of Romagna. It rises from the paved road that reaches the step of mandrioli, little fiddles and not too demanding. Arrived at step (about 11km from the car park) takes a path (the first few meters are steep and rocky hard to pedal) that will take us through a beautiful single track through the woods (with some fallen tree that requires some deviation) and after a small climb uphill, you get to step Serra. At this point it comes down hairpin bends and some rocky area and you will come up with various 'steps lunar' rock, very exposed.
Up to here the path is the same as the Nasseto / Zuccherodante classic and best known. < br>
Before we get to the ruins of Nasseto however, there is but a variant, to the right you can see a trail.
After a short descent turns into a pretty tough climb, with peaks of over 20%, the duration of 10 minutes approx. After the climb begins a beautiful trail through the woods on the left, with its curves. Unlike the Nasseto 'classic' this is less stony and more smoothly. At this point, there is another small climb to do on a rocky stretch, challenging enough (around 20%) but relatively short. We plunged into the forest, the path is narrow but fast, with few rocks. A few fallen tree in winter forces us to cut some off the path. At the end you will come out before the fords that would be made by the Nasseto 'classic.' On A GPS is recommended because the trail is very little, and is reported only in part.
