Si parte da Visso subito dopo il cimitero, e si inizia a salire per la lunga strada sterrata che ci porta alla sommità del Monte Cardosa, posto tra l’alta valle del Nera e la Piana di Preci. Arrivati ai pascoli sommitali imbocchiamo un sentiero a dx che ci porta al versante ovest del monte da dove inizia la lunga discesa per Campi. Si ritorna a Visso per la Valnerina con una visita d’obbligo all’Abbazia di Sant’Eutizio, fondata nel V secolo dai Monaci Siriani e dove nacque la scuola di chirurgia preciana, sorta come diretta emanazione delle conoscenze e delle arti curative introdotte nella Valle Castoriana intorno al V secolo.
