Bell'itinerario che conduce da Lugano fino quasi in cima al Monte Bar, con bei panorami sul lago di Lugano.
La partenza è da Breganzona presso la nuova chiesa, dove c'è un ampio parcheggio. Si scende fino all'ospedale e poi si prende a salire verso Tesserete. Presto si lascia la strada principale per salire verso San Bernardo, dove ci aspettano i primi sentieri della giornata, in salita come in discesa. Si arriva a Tesserete e da qui si sale su asfalto fino all'inizio della discesa. Prima si sale in mezzo al bosco, poi su una stradina sempre più stretta e sempre più spettacolare per i panorami. All'ultimo tornante prima del lungo traverso fino alla Capanna Monte Bar si svolta a sinistra su sentiero e dopo pochi metri di discesa si arriva al Motto della Croce che potete vedere in foto qui sotto.
Si taglia tutto il versante sud del Monte Bar su un bel sentiero abbastanza facile, poi si arriva sulla stradina asfaltata che porta a Gola di Lago, la si segue fino alla Località Zalto, dove comincia la lunga cavalcate in direzione Lopagno: un bel sentiero che con il passare dei chilometri si fa semrpe più fluido, fino a sbucare con 3 tornantini finali sulla strada asfaltata che abbiamo fatto in salita presso Tesserete. Da qui su asfalto si torna a Breganzona.

Nice tour leads from Lugano up almost on top of the Monte Bar, with beautiful views of Lake Lugano.
The departure is from Breganzona at the new church, where there is ample parking. It comes down to the hospital and then starts to climb towards Tesserete. Soon you leave the main road to go up to San Bernardo, where we expect the first trail of the day, uphill as downhill. You get to Tesserete and from here you climb on asphalt until the beginning of the descent. Before you go up in the woods, then up a narrow road ever closer and ever more spectacular for the views. The last bend before the long traverse to Capanna Monte Bar, turn left on the path and after a few meters downhill you get to the Motto of the cross that you can see in the picture below.
Cut around the south slope of Mount Bar on a beautiful trail easy enough, then you get on the paved road that leads to Gola di Lago, the follow up to the Zalto City, where he began the long rides in the direction Lopagno: a beautiful path with the passage of kilometers you semrpe more fluid, until you come out with 3 hairpins on the final road that we did climb at Tesserete. From here on asphalt back to Breganzona.
