Il percorso parte da Montoggio centro e, raggiunta la frazione di Castello, si innesta nel percorso "Anello dei Fieschi" fino alla frazione di Casale, per poi inerpicarsi su una strada sterrata molto ripida che risale il versante sud del Monte Castelletto; a circa metà salita il tracciato diventa un single-track, a tratti piuttosto esposto, che raggiunge la pineta sulla sella che separa il monte Badriga dal monte Castelletto (o Garego). Da qui si può godere un panorama mozzafiato sulla sottostante valle Pentemina, dominando dall'alto le frazioni di Casale, Gazzolo e Bromia.
Giunti in pineta si scollina sul versante nord e, cambiando direzione di marcia, si risale la cresta del monte Castelletto fino a raggiungerne la cima; da qui la vista può spaziare dalla catena del monte Antola, alle Alpi, al mare.
A questo punto inizia una bella discesa nei prati che conduce ad una piccola cappelletta, lungo la cresta che separa la Valle Scrivia dalla Val Brevenna; qui si incontra la strada sterrata proveniente dal Tiro a Volo in località Serrato, raggiunto il quale, dopo un brevissimo tratto di asfalto, si imboccherà un sentiero che conduce alla frazione di Cascinette. Da qui si ritorna, lungo la strada asfaltata, alla frazione di Castello ed infine al punto di partenza.
Il percorso è interamente pedalabile, tuttavia a tratti presenta salite piuttosto ripide e tecniche: prima di raggiungere la pineta, in particolare, si incontra un tratto stretto e pietroso nel quale occorre prestare attenzione al dirupo sottostante (per chi non ha dimestichezza con i tratti tecnici è consigliabile scendere e spingere).

The route starts from Montoggio center, and reached the village of Castello, is inserted in the path "Ring of Fieschi" until the village of Casale, and then climb up a very steep dirt road that goes up the south slope of Mount Castelletto; about halfway up the trail becomes a single-track, sometimes quite exposed, which reaches the pine forest on the saddle that separates the mountain from Mount Badriga Castelletto (or Garego). From here you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the valley below Pentemina, dominating from the villages of Casale, Gazzolo and Bromia.
Joints in pine forest on the north side and top of the hill, changing direction, climb the Castelletto crest of the mountain to reach the top; the view from here can range from the chain of Mount Antola, the Alps to the sea.
At this point begins a beautiful descent into the meadows that leads to a small chapel, along the ridge that separates the valley from Val Scrivia Brevenna; Here you will find the dirt road from target shooting in locations Serrato, at which, after a short stretch of asphalt, you will take a path that leads to the village of Cascinette. From here we return along the paved road to the hamlet of Castello and finally to the starting point.
The course is entirely pedaled, but at times has rather steep climbs and technical: before reaching the pine forest, in particular, we find a narrow, stony in which we must pay attention to the cliff below (for those not familiar with the technical sections it is advisable to get off and push).
