Partenza da Lecco nei pressi dell'ospedale, si sale per la strada che sale alla funivia dei piani d'Erna fino ad un tornante dove si entra nei vecchi vicoli sbucando a lato della nuova strada per Ballabio, si inbocca una vecchia scalinata che porta di nuovo su asfalto (questo tratto è inutile ai fini del giro ma abbastanza caratteristico); da qui si sale in direzione Monte Albano, prima asfalto poi sterro fino ad arrivare sulla strada vecchia per Ballabio, poi direzione Morterone fino alla forcella di Olino, interminabile.
Qui inizia il difficile.
Diversi sali-scendi, molti pezzi a spinta, in definitiva una pedalabilità del 50% fino al passo Giuf, non sottovalutate il tratto, è molto faticoso.
Arrivati al passo si scende ai piani d'Erna fino l'arrivo della funivia, bar e trattoria per chi volesse.
Ora si scende: ho tracciato il 7, è veramente inc@zzata, di lì scendono con le freeride ma anche loro devono avere i loro problemi; si arriva al rifugio Stoppani, si continua fino alla funivia, da lì ero morto, sono sceso per un tratto su asfalto poi ho infilato le vecchie scalinate che picchiano giù fino al punto di partenza.
Per chi volesse alternative nei vecchi roadbook (che funzionavano meglio di questi) Tat0 aveva inserito molte tracce dai piani d'Erna alla funivia.
TracciaGPS: l'ho un pò smanettata unendo due tracce e editandola, quindi non fateci troppo affidamento.
