Parcheggio a Stresa Dietro alla partenza della funivia è free, saliamo fino in cima poi risaliamo la strada asfaltata che appena più avanti della stazione sale a dx e proseguiamo fino ad arrivare sul versante opposto. Scendiamo verso il bavcino dell'acqua che si vede in basso e da lì parte il sentiero N1, direzione Alpe Nuovo. Da qui incominciano i c...i, il traverso e non solo, che porta verso Alpe Colma è praticamente inesistente, sia come fondo e sia per il fatto che non ci passa nessuno. Per fortuna è ben segnato sulle piante e mi consolavo con il gps. Terminato questi tratti impedalabili la discesa si fà bella tecnica o scorrevole su foglie.... alternando qualche pezzo tra erba e felci alte un metro dove il sentiero sottostante è tutto un imprevisto.
Nel colplesso mi sono divertito, bella scampagnata selvatica. Peccato l'asfalto da Gravellona a Stresa.
