Giro made the 01/08/2010 in the company of Peter
Route not very original, but very fun.
From Rimaggino go up the dirt road toward Paterno, then tarmac uphill until you reach a Dx, on top of the hill, before the cemetery, a dirt road that will lead to the beginning of the Roman road. Reached Mt. Cucco, we opted to go down on crinalino to Sn, denoted by the white-red signs CAI, fast descent and rather technical. Reached the four-way lift the dirt road to the meeting. At the junction with the trail 4B (the first dirt road we encounter in Sn) descend on Terrato and then after three turns you head Dx. You take a narrow but fun singl track that will lead to Poggio Balestrieri. It holds the Right and on the surfaced road that would lead to Vilamagna. After about 500 meters take the road to the Castle. Before you sign that indicates "Rignao" takes on Sn and uphill gravel road. Continue in the direction of Cyrano. Continuing on the dirt road you came to take the single track "Sasso round" beautiful and that leads about 500 meters from the cemetery of San Prugnano. Go ahead and reached Castiglionchio, begins the last real climb of the tour, quite hard. Moriano reached, take the paved road on the left, San Martino management. After passing the turnoff to San Martino after a slight ascent the road flattens. At the beginning of the descent, always, liev, there is a sharp bend on the left, you go straight into the field and follow the path always visible. From the field of olive trees in 300 meters you will reach a point where they start three dirt roads. You take the middle one that will lead to the crest of the hill. The single track is easy, very infrascato in this period, but very divertente.Si down to Cellai. From Cellai and turn right into the main road that leads to San Donato and then from the cemetery, a Right to an unpaved road all'Antella. Ten kilometers of asphalt road and back to Florence.
