Routenbeschreibung

It 'a route that develops on most roads, forest trails and mule tracks, but offers fantastic views. It starts from the beautiful town of Chiusa in the Val d'Isarco and climb on paved road to Lazfons, with some jerk harder. Before the village turn left and go up, always on asphalt but with beautiful views, following the signs to the refuge Chiusa. The road eventually becomes dirt, and alternates between gentle slopes with short jerks very hard. Closed arrived at the shelter, you go to the forest, now very steep, up to the first mountain hut. Continuing on the way, but forded the river rears back with slopes difficult trails. After a short path again, you still need to push along the Way of the Cross (in name and in fact), which comes to mean-spirited Church of the Cross, at 2300m, the highest point of pilgrimage in Europe. The church contains the famous crucifix of christ black. After we rested at the shelter and have admired the beautiful scenery, go back down the same trail until the end of the dirt road, then continue on the right path towards Snodres 17. arrived at the village, turn right and follow the path up to the monastery of the chestnut trees Säben. After a brief visit inside the walls (here comes a Way of the Cross), down from the winding path that meets left before reaching the monastery. It 'a path but not tight bends with gradonati that will delight those who manage to turn on the narrow (Who does not feel, it can go down the way of the cross after the monastery). It comes with a last, steep stone staircase, right in the town center of Chiusa
