Variante alle classiche risalite al rifugio Papa.
Lasciata l’auto al parcheggio di Staro, prendiamo subito la prima strada a destra uscendo dal parcheggio. Teniamo la chiesa parrocchiale sulla ns destra e iniziamo a salire con direzione della contrada Brandeleri.
In prossimità della prima casa della sopra citata contrada giriamo a destra e iniziamo un continuo saliscendi tra strade e sentieri che ci portano a contrada Casarotti da dove inizia, l’impegnativa salita della riva molunga che in pochi km ci porta a passare sotto lo strapiombo dove sorge l’ossario del Pasubio. Adesso proseguiamo seguendo la strada che è sempre dolce e scorrevole fino allo scollinamento dove possiamo già ammirare davanti a noi il massiccio del Pasubio. Dopo una breve discesa e l’attraversamento di una piccola e dissestata galleria risaliamo per alcune centinaia di metri e ci troviamo al Pian delle Fugazze. Fatti alcune centinaia di metri di asfalto prendiamo subito a destra la strada degli Eroi e risaliamo fino al rifugio Papa.
La discesa è stata fatta fino a malga fieno per la strada e per il restante sul sentiero E5 che ci porta a sbucare proprio di fronte alla strada delle sette fontane che percorriamo tutta fino al passo di Campogrosso. Oltrepassiamo il passo e risaliamo, per alcune centinaia di metri, la vecchia strada di collegamento tra passo Campogrosso e l’ossario del Pasubio. Dove la strada spiana, ci fermiamo a riprendere fiato e ammirare un paesaggio magnifico.
Sulla ns destra parte il sentiero 154 all’inizio è una carrareccia che dopo alcune centinaia di metri diventa sentiero con alcuni passaggi ostici per poi tornare strada bianca. In questo tratto è necessario porre molta attenzione perché non dobbiamo seguire la strada principale ma tenere sempre la destra su due bivi che incontriamo in successione che ci permetteranno di seguire veramente un bel sentiero con dei passaggi molto tecnici. Seguendo il sentiero arriveremo prima in contrada Zulpi-Rive e Fiori e subito a passo Xon da dove in pache centinaia di metri arriviamo alle auto.

The descent was made up to alpine pasture hay for the road and the remaining on the path that leads us to emerge E5 own across the street of the seven fountains that walk across to the pass of Campogrosso. We pass the step and go up to several hundred meters, the old road linking step Campogrosso and the ossuary of Pasubio. Where the road levels, we stop to catch your breath and admire a magnificent scenery.
On our right is a path to the top 154 ??is a track that after a few hundred meters becomes a path with some cryptic passages and then return road. In this section you need to be very careful because you do not have to follow the main road but keep to the right on two forks that we meet in succession that will allow us to follow a really nice trail with some very technical passages.
