Capraia è una piccola frazione del Comune di Talla situata a 640m slm alle pendici del Pratomagno. Da qui parte una strada bianca che in appena 4 Km porta a 1.065m di quota. Da qui si puo scegliere alcuni percorsi, quello postato oggi permette di fare una bellissima discesa che in poco piu di 1 km scende 200m di dislivello continuando il nostro percosro raggiungiamo il sentiero 38 del CAI, da qui alcune opzioni, scendere al paese di Carda oppure come nel nostro caso risalire fin su il crinale. Altri 2,5 Km di salita e 300m di quota raggiungiamo il crocevia sul crinale, da qui toniamo indietro fino a raccordarci sul sentiero ( abbastanza tecnico ) che ci porta ad un abbazia Benedettina della fine del 900 , Badia S.Trinita. (Attenzioe a i ruderi che sono pericolanti). Qui possiamo trovare una fontana con acqua potabile dove poter fare rifornimento. Dalla fontana parte il sentiero 32 del CAI in direzione Capraia, il sentiero al momento è mal messo ma molto spettacolare con bellissimi scorci sulla vallata.

Capraia is a small village in the municipality of Talla situated at 640m above sea level on the slopes of Pratomagno. From here a dirt road in just 4 Km leads to 1.065m altitude. From here you can choose some routes, posted today that allows you to make a beautiful descent that in a little more than 1 km down 200m in altitude continuing our percosro reach the path 38 of the CAI, hence a few options, go down to the village of Carda or as in our case traced all the way up the ridge. Another 2.5 km of ascent and 300m of altitude we reach the crossroads on the ridge, from here toniamo raccordarci back up to the path (fairly technical) which leads us to a Benedictine abbey at the end of 900, Badia Santa Trinita. (Attenzioe to the ruins that are unsafe). Here we can find a drinking fountain where you can refuel. From the fountain part of the path 32 of the CAI in the direction of Capraia, the path is currently poorly developed but very spectacular with beautiful views of the valley.
