Routenbeschreibung

Ring to go in the direction indicated to appreciate the single-trak and pedaling uphill on firm ground.
From the fountain Sa Carrera (namesake bar next door) walk about 300m towards Villagrande and up the hill on the right ( it quickly becomes a continuation of the Via Dante Alighieri), it is the only deviation to the right from the main street Via Vittorio Emanuele. Start a tough climb of about 8km that goes up the side of the mountain until you cross near the dolmen's Bau and Tanca. The trail has stretches with steep gradients but in excellent condition. Going straight for 2km to the west, always on a good track, it arrivebbe to S'Arcu and S'Orostode, with its fountain, outlet point for those arriving by Fennau (see around Urzulei).
It crosses the paved road that leads to the Talana from SS 389 and continue in a southerly direction (signs for Monte Olinie) along the crest of the mountain admiring the view that spans the Gulf of Arbatax until you reach the entrance of the single trak, with the sign of the path 531, that will bring us close to the SS368 Talana-Villagrande. The path from the bottom schistose but generally compact and pedaled, down the mountain for about 4km with an alternation of fast straights and tight bends that will be much appreciated by bikers more technical but will not cause too much difficulty for the less experienced. Along the way, it is not uncommon to find yourself with a few trees across, however, clearly visible and avoidable, waiting for someone to walk in those parts with a hacksaw and let us firewood, or that the Forestry Agency do the cleaning fire.

Once on the road Talana ghost-Villagrande, interrupted by years due to numerous landslides that prevent the passage of cars, you can return to Talana and close a ring reduced by about 20km.
We continue on the right towards villagrande to conclude the most cross-countristica route, arriving in the vicinity of the landfill in the country, which has its size the flood of 2004 and the subsequent remedial measures, which we overcome and then turn on the dirt road towards the valley.
We throw in a fast descent to the bed of the Baku Corbini, which we cross and then continue on the flat for a few miles and back down in the reforestation of M. Fenarbu towards the Rio Sa Teula in the vicinity of Lake St. Lucia, where we meet the paved road.
We continue then turn left to take after a few hundred meters a dirt road that goes up the valley of the Riu Porceddinu towards Talana, taking in the resort Pinettas Is a fun diversion to the left and then climb a hill and descending towards the SP56.
At 40 km dirt road ends and we enter the SP56. We are approaching the last effort of 7km to 8% slope on a paved road with very low traffic density, from the deck of Coa 'and Serra to the village Talana.
The route in its entirety measuring 46km, with an accumulated altitude of about 1600m.
The first 15km are definitely the most fun, characterized by hard initial climb, the magnificent view of the gulf and the beautiful long single-trak. The second part, on the road SS368 ghost until Talana is perfectly suited to fans of cross-country, with fast descents and well-groomed, short stretches semipianeggianti where to push the relationship and the last interminable ascent on asphalt. For those who want to avoid this lift, it would be possible to load the bike on the bus to Ponte Coa 'and Serra, at the foot of the climb, and climb up to Talana before you start cycling.
