Paths to Arnasco Coasco
The path in question is about 12 km on a nice dirt road 4.5 km downhill, and a height that does not reach even 300 mt.
Take the road SP-453 that connects Albenga with Ortovero Ortovero direction.
Before arriving in Ortovero, on the right is the junction for the SP-21, which leads to the towns of Vendone and Arnasco. The road is steep but does not present a particularly difficult slope. Along the anticipated you will also find some water fountain.
Stay on the main road and after about 2 km you will arrive at Celsa, continuing we will arrive in Castellaro.
After a bend you come to an intersection, you must go to right into the SP-35-Anasco Vendone-Onzo.
After about 500 meters, on the right, near a curve, you will find the entry to see the monoliths of Rainer. It is a small garden with sculptures in stone, you can not go wrong.
Going forward (about 20 mt.) The road starts to be down and to the right guardrail stops. From this point you should see a sign with a ban on the bike and the path that we need to start going down and down seems to go back.
This dirt road is not particularly difficult, it is quite wide and it runs without problems.
When the path that runs in T intersects with another turn to the right.
Going to the left resumes climb and reach Arnasco.
Going to the right and continue downhill begins to be some stone more . Nothing difficult, the only attention necessary is to stay on the main path.
The sides of the path there are several other trails that start, both uphill, and downhill. There are also some signs of a motorcycle club that probably uses the area to do some races. I've never done these other paths and I do not even know where they lead. So it is advisable to stay on the main path.
Continuing down you get in a curve with a small stone church on the left. Soon after, at the next intersection, turn right again.
Going to the left the main trail splits, and depending on the direction you take you can get to Arnasco or in locations Bezzo.
The road to this point becomes paved again and passed the group of houses there are places on the SP-19, which connects with the fraction of Arnasco Coasco. Going downhill, after 3.5 km you back on the SP-453.
For those not familiar with the area, the road SP-453 is the one that starts from Albenga and goes to the highway . At the traffic lights before the ramp to the entrance on the highway, turn left and cross the bridge. Continue straight ahead, passing the hamlet of Bastia. The road to this point goes downhill and then immediately continues uphill, on the left you will see the exit for the Aurelia BIS. On the next corner is the intersection that connects with Arnasco (not the one that begins the path, but what it ends). You go straight ahead and you exceed the fraction of Coasco. At the next intersection, go straight towards Ortovero, Pieve di Teco and after a few kilometers you reach the intersection that begins the path described above.
Starting from Albenga and returning to the same point, the path arrives to exceed 30 Km .
