Routenbeschreibung


Da Cesi per Civitella ed il Monte Nagni, costeggiando il Castello di Roccafranca dominante la Valle di Percanestro, si raggiunge Caposomigiale da dove una tortuosa discesa ci porta nella gola del Fiume Vigi (meritevoli di una visita il Laghetto artificiale e le Cascate del Torrente Le Rote). Con una ripida mulattiera (tratti a spinta) si raggiunge Montesanto (bel panorama su Sellano) da dove, dopo piacevoli e un po’ faticosi saliscendi sulle alture di Setri e Rasenna, si ritorna sulla strada provinciale per Cesi.

From Civitella Cesi and Mount Nagni, skirting the castle dominating the valley of Roccafranca Percanestro, you reach Caposomigiale where a winding descent brings us into the gorge of the River Vigi (worth a visit Artificial lake and the Niagara Torrente Le Rote ). With a steep trail (taken to be pushed) is reached Montesanto (nice view of Sellano) from where, after a pleasant and a bit 'tiring ups and downs on the heights of Setri Rasenna and go back on the road to Cesi.
