Si parte dal COMUNE DI IMPERIA, e si segue il percorso della MARATONA DEL FAUDO; si procede su asfalto fino a 500 metri di quota, poi su strata sterrata fino a 1000 metri; la vetta è 120 metri più in alto, ma da qui inizia un lunghissimo sentiero che diviene poi mulattiera fino al ritorno sull'Aurelia. Se non si vuole arrivare fino in cima, ci sono diversi punti in cui la strada sterrata passa vicinissima al sentiero di discesa, dunque è possibile accorciare il percorso, godendosi comunque un lungo single track.
Una curiosità: il record della Maratona è circa 1 ora e 35 minuti !!!

It is part of the CITY OF IMPERIA, and follow the path of the MARATHON Faudo; proceed on asphalt up to 500 meters, then on gravel strata up to 1000 meters; the summit is 120 meters higher, but from here begins a long path then becomes mule track until the return of the Aurelia. If you do not want to get to the top, there are several points where the dirt road passes close to the glide path, so it is possible to shorten the route, however, enjoying a long single track.
A curiosity: the record of the Marathon is about 1 hour and 35 minutes !!!
