Ogni anno il Team Arestis di quartu organizza la "100km deggli arestis"....circa 100 km da percorre in mtb quasi esclusivamente su percorso offroad....nell'edizione del 2009 partenza dal piazzale del cimitero di quartu.....da li si percorrono circa 25 km di asfalto sulla 125 direzione muravera e in prossimità del valico "arcu e tidu"si gira a dx ,500m e ci si ferma al piazzale di fronte alla caserma della forestale campuomu luogo in cui c'è l'apuntamento per chi vuole evitare un po di asfalto e sopratutto km:-). la traccia che pubblico parte proprio da qui e si sviluppa in un percorso di circa 76km. Si sale fino a baccumalu uno sguardo al belvedere della forestale e poi si scende in una veloce discesa sino a Annunziata Olia Speciosa e infine le ex carceri di Castiadas.....da li breve sosta e poi si riparte verso le antenne di Minni Minni....pero si gira a dx e si va verso monte pauli...si arriva alla formazione rocciosa detta "la Sfinge" e poi si scende verso "sa cotti" per poi risalire alla "piana dei cavalli"....per poi arrivare al punto di partenza.....il percorso è abbastanza duro per cui sconsiglio di percorrerlo nei periodi estivi, senza una certa preparazione atletica, e senza una buona riserva idrica.....onde evitare problemi se potete nn andate nelle giornate in cui è aperta la caccia...buon divertimento....e se potete pubblicate anke vuoi qualcosa
