Štartal sem iz parkirišca pred samopostrežno trgovino v Bohinjski Bistrici. Nekaj sto metrov se pelješ nazaj proti Bledu, na odcepu za Pokljuko (Jereka) pa levo v prisrcno povprecno sedmico. V Jereki sta dve možnosti za vzpon proti Pokljuki. Desna in leva. Desna je bila septemba 08 neprevozna zaradi plazu, ki je odnesel del ceste. Baje se s kolesom da mimo. Kakorkoli, leva je definitivno lepša. Relativno ozka cesta se strmo in serpentinasto vzpenja kakih 7 km, vmes pade tudi kaka dvanajstica. Nekje na prvi uravnitvi je opcija levo gor (tabla kaže smer konjske ježe) ... ampak gremo levo, saj tu levo pridemo dol. Proti Koprivniku in Gorjušam malo gor in dola. Prijetno. V Gorjušah najprej desno in ob prikljucku na glavno cesto (ta je tista, ki pride iz Jereke po desni varianti) greš levo. Še par kilometrov enakomernega vzpenjanja, ki ni ne tic ne miš ... meni najbolj zoprna trojka, štirica ... do meje med Bohinjem in Bledom in ker so Blejcani ocitno revnejši, se tu nekje tudi konca asfalt. Slaba dva kilometra makadama in smo na najbolj znanem križišcu Pokljuke. Levo in po ... hm .... ajde, kilometru in pol še enkrat levo proti Šport Hotelu, levo mimo njega do najvišje tocke pri 1.300 metrih. Tu je dom-gostišce-gostilna in priložnost za pocitek-preoblacenje, saj gre od tu vse skupaj samo še dol. Lep ozek asfalt omogoca hitro vijuganje, a je treba paziti izletnike-pohodnike-turiste. Po lepem spustu pripelješ do križišca, kjer ne veš kam bi šel. Obe poti pripeljeta v dolino, sam sem šel na desno (cisto nazaj), kar je bolje, saj varianta naravnost pripelje na cesto "desno v Jereki". Par sto metrov pa smo pri "konjskem" križišcu in nazaj na že poznani poti. Obeta se lep spust ... V Jereki ne greš levo po poti po kateri si prišel ampak zaviješ desno, da koncaš drugi del osmice. Pelješ se do Bohinjskega jezera in od tam po glavni cesti do parkirišca v Bohinjski bistrici. Lepo, prijetno hladno poleti. Veliko zelenja in nekaj lepih razgledov na Julijce, proti Voglu in Crni prsti.
