Routenbeschreibung

The itinerary, all pedaled, allows, without the use of mechanized ski lifts, starting from Altar, to reach the legendary Base Born of Pian dei Corsi (Finale Ligure) and to follow two of the most beautiful runs in single-track, half of freeriders from all over Europe.
From Altar will continue for about 3 miles the road towards Mallaig, and then turn on the dirt road toward the shelf of the Term. Here it joins the high street of the Ligurian Mountains, and through a beautifull beech forest to reach the shelf of St. James. Carry on along the wide dirt road high street, but after about 1.5 km then turn right along a steep path. You go through the meadows of Boe and turning left you continue to climb in the woods until you reach the glue Cravarezza.
Then turn left (attention in this section to racers who could walk the path in the opposite direction ) and continues aseguire the path, sometimes steep, until you see the wind turbines installed at the former NATO base of Pian dei Corsi.
starts on the first stretch of downhill fun which ends by crossing the wide dirt road that S.Giacomo connects with the asphalt that climbs from Finale Ligure. He then turns to the left to find after about 2 km road on the left which shows again the glue Cravarezza. Now we follow the narrow track that plunges into the forest in a fun descent with many compressions that brings us back to the road traveled before.
We turn again to the left and retrace the road in the first leg made up to go back to the shelf of the Term. We always follow the highest path and reaches the shelf Baraccone, and soon after a crossroads, walk walk a short distance from the slope deadly. Back in the saddle, take the road of Bizzirine and finally the last descent that takes us back to the main road crossed early on the outskirts of Altar.
