Routenbeschreibung

Saludos … appena ho tempo allego qualche foto.

The report of this tour can be found here also with photos etc .:
Friends Barrels () had invited me to walk around in pure style this AM ... but the date could not join them because they are already busy with Martane.
After seeing their pictures and I realized I had missed a great opportunity. The approach of the snow (already partly present) had led me to this programmarmi around in the short term and, in the spirit of carpe diem, to not put off till tomorrow what you can do today. ...
The weather was uncertain for the type of ride, for the altitude reached and the lack of knowledge of the cruise itself. ... but the companion Toty does not hold back as usual, and here we are in a sort of challenge to Guardino at 8.10 for breakfast.
We jump on the bus where there is a nice big group of Cori (hello StefanD) that go in the other direction. Once in Campo Catino pulls a strong wind and cold. ... climb with the other group since the first piece was in common. After leaving them we enter into the clouds and from an altitude of 1800 guidance is really tough ... even in danger of getting lost between me and Toty to even 20 meters. away from each other!
The technology comes to the rescue and the GPS will save the day even if the views at the top are now "gone". ... lost. In that situation in the fog the risk of being wrong is high because the paths have numerous detours. Sometimes we go back on our feet ... but. part of the game! J
After a nice bucio to push uphill in style with AM and an icy wind that gets into your bones, climb over the mountains and put caps ... the descent is tostissima and we are forced to walk for a long time .
Once in the woods, the situation improves significantly even if the bottom is hard (mud, branches and leaves and rocks pretty smooth).
Slowly go down and the situation becomes more fun and technical with a path with steps, steps, rocks being moved ... and many tight corners. A blast although a bit 'tiring if we do not stop often. This stretch up to the Certosa di Trisulti, is truly spectacular ... but despite the good signs recently redone (signs CAI) the risk of making a mistake is always lurking ... navigation with GPS is very important.
A Once at the Certosa not remove the protections (like we did): it is a tiny piece of asphalt and then take a nice street with steps ... very funny. Once at the bottom of the canyon, the climb begins to push ... and with a vertical drop of about 150 meters.
Once arrived at Cappellette you take a dirt road that leads us to just before Lazio Vico inbocca where the asphalt . On entering the village should inboccare deviation which I see on paper or via a dirt road takes you back to Guarcino allowing you not to touch the asphalt (if not in the country to look the same), avoiding a few km. of provincial (found on the forum topic).
Departure by bus from Guarcino at 8.45. ... returned to the car at 14.15 ... in our usual pace Bradycardic!
Giro beautiful ... I suggest you do so in this period, however, with favorable weather ... will certainly be more beautiful with the snow and ... (if not many) will be a thing
spectacular .... but watch out for signs of the CAI ... the snow hides them!
Saludos ... as soon as I have time I am attaching some pictures.

PS: thanks to Sandrino for the track ... precious. without that we would find a spring as Oetzi!
