Un giro duro ma che vale sempre la pena fare. Si parte dal parcheggio del cimitero di Virle (BS) e si tiene la sinistra seguendo le indicazione per la ciclabile direzione Salò. La si percorre tutta sino a Gavardo quando, finita la ciclabile, si incontra la fontanella. A quel punto si percorre girando a sinistra un centinaio di metri di statale per imboccare sulla destra la strada che ci porterà sino al Tesio.
La meraviglia di questa salita,che non è quella classica, ma passa tra malghe e cave del marmo in disuso, è il panorama. In alcuni punti la pendenza è davvero impegnativa e oscilla tra il 20% e 25% ma il terreno è a tratti compatto e a tratti con uno strato di cemento che aiuta la presa della ruota posteriore.
Giunti alla fine della mulattiera, si tiene di nuovo la sinistra arrivando a Serle: si proseguo sino al bivio dove, girando a destra, si noterà indicazione Santuario di San Bartolomeo.
Sempre dritti sino al ristorante l’Alpino dove un cannone della seconda guerra mondiale indica la strada da seguire. Di nuovo a sinistra ed inizia l’ultimo Km di Passione per arrivare in cima al Santuario.
I tempo si godere per qualche minuto della fantastica vista e si ritorna giù. Il percorso di ritorno è impegnativo ed in molti tratti tecnico, specialmente se il terreno è bagnato. Alcune rocce e canaloni tengono viva l’adrenalina del Biker anche più esperto.
Si prendono i primi due bivi girando a destra sino a sbucare sulla strada asfaltata che riporta verso S. Eufemia: all’altezza di Castello si prende svoltando a destra il sentiero principale che ci riporterà sino a Botticino. A quel punto gli ultimi 3 km di asfalto per tornare al punto di partenza.

A hard ride but it is always worth doing. It starts from the parking lot of the cemetery Virle (BS) and keep left and follow the signs to the path direction Salò. Follow it all up to Gavardo when, after the path, you come to the fountain. At that point you turn left along a hundred yards of road to turn right onto the road that will take us up to the Tesio.
The wonder of this climb, which is not the classic one, but passes through alpine meadows and marble quarries into disuse, it is the view. In some points the slope is very challenging and ranges between 20% and 25%, but the soil is compact and piecewise sections with a layer of cement which helps the grip of the rear wheel.
At the end of the trail, is held back left, arriving at Serle: yes I continue to the junction where turning right, you will notice indicating Shrine of St. Bartholomew.
Go straight up to the Alpine restaurant where a cannon of World War II shows the way forward . Left again and started the last Km Passion to get on top of the shrine.
Time to enjoy the fantastic view for a few minutes and go back down. The return path is challenging and in many technical sections, especially if the ground is wet. Some rocks and gullies keep alive the adrenaline of Biker even more experienced.
Take the first two junctions turning right until you reach the road paved back towards S. Eufemia: up to Castello takes turn right the main path that will bring us up to Botticino. At that point the last 3 km of asphalt to return to the starting point. Photos: Beautiful, really nice ... Good
