Questo itinerario è stato percorso il 25 ottobre 2009 in occasione della 7a edizione dell' "Olio Novo" (vedi a).
Tornati indietro, si prende a destra e si percorre un crinale, sempre su strada sterrata, fino alle pendici del monte Buceto: qui si prende a destra (a sinistra ci si reimmetterebbe nell'ultima parte del percorso) per un km, poi a sinistra in discesa su uno stradello all'interno di un'abetaia, che scende ad una sterrata che proviene da Le Macchie: si prende a sinistra iniziando l'aggiramento del Monte Buceto e del Monte Aquilaia da nord.
Arrivati all'altezza di Poggio all'Olmo si piega a sinistra su una stradella sconnessa che scende fino a sboccare in un'ampia sterrata che sale a sinistra di nuovo abbastanza ripidamente. Una volta scollinato si inizia a scendere, si tiene la destra (a diritto si raggiungerebbe il bivio della seconda salita) e ci si dirige verso su dapprima in saliscendi e successivamente in discesa.
Dopo una ampia curva verso sinistra si incontra un bivio: a diritto si scenderebbe all'abitato di Santa Caterina, il percorso invece piega a sinistra per affrontare un'ultima salita, breve questa volta, al termine della quale si trova sulla destra l'imbocco di un sentiero marcato; si scende su singletrack prima e su sterro poi fino a sboccare sull' asfalto, l'abitato di Roccalbegna è ini vista sulla sinstra.

Back, you will turn right and walk along a ridge, again on a dirt road, until the slopes of Mount Buceto: here you turn right (to the left there is reimmetterebbe the last part of the route) for a mile, then turn left down a country road within fir-wood, which comes down to a dirt road that comes from Stains: go left starting to circumvent the Buceto Monte and Monte Aquilaia from the north.
arrive at Poggio all'Olmo turn left on a bumpy little road that goes down until it emerges in a 'wide dirt road that climbs quite steeply to the left again. Once top of the hill you begin to go down, keep to the right (to the right you reach the junction of the second climb) and we head out in first downs and then downhill.
After a wide curve to the left come to a fork: to the right, descend to the village of Santa Caterina, the path turns left instead to tackle the last climb, this short time, after which the entrance is on the right of a marked path; descend on singletrack first and then excavation until it emerges on 'asphalt, the village of Roccalbegna is ini view of the sinstra.
