Splendido anello che arriva in cima al Forte del Malamot sopra la diga del Moncenisio, si sal dal Bar e si prende subito una sterrata sulla sinistra che passa da splendidi laghetti poi un lungo traverso sopra le famose "scale" del Moncenisio.
Giunti al Forte Varisella si inizia a salire "seriamente" con una carrozzabile chiusa al traffico.
Prima del Forte vale la pena andare al Lac Blanc, splendido laghetto montano proprio sotto la rupe dove sorge il forte .
Al ritorno si può scendere da una mulatttiera sul forte Pattecreuse oppure rifare la stessa strada della salita e approffittare della bellezza dei luoghi per fare un periplo del lago artificiale o passare sopra la diga .. stupendo !!
