Itinerario al 95% su sterrato con un paio di passaggi a piedi nella discesa e risalita della valle del Rabau dietro al seminario di Venegono Inferiore (molto dipende anche dalle condizioni del fondo stradale). Si possono effettuare numerose varianti, per allungarlo o accorciarlo, inserendo eventualmente alcuni tratti su asfalto. l'itinerario è circolare e quindi può essere iniziato in molti punti diversi.Alcuni tratti nella pineta nei pressi dell'osservatorio di Tradate-Abbiate e nel percorso tra Castelnuovo Bozzente e San Bartolomeo sono molto piacevoli. In condizioni di terrreno bagnato e con fango diventa faticosa. Un tratto di ca. 200 mt, dopo l'attraversamento della via per Castelnuovo a Tradate, localtià "Costa del RE", si sviluppa in un prato, da costeggiare sulla sinistra prima di ritrovare un sentiero tracciato. La percentuale di single track è ca 50%.
Con riferimento ai sentieri indicati nella piantina del Parco Pineta (), all'inizio seguire le indicazioni VO1 e quindi BI1, in località Belvedere di Binago attraversare la strada asfaltata risalendo verso nord-est e continuare su BI1; ripreso il sentiero, in corrispondenza ad una "esse" abbandonare BI1 per proseguire in direzione est, quindi sud e poi nuovamente est; non entrare in Monello, ma piegare verso sud seguendo ill sentiero che lungo la costa del " Monterosso", passando sotto i tralicci dell'alta tensione, porta verso Castelnuovo Bozzente. Dopo una discesa che con una curva porta in direzione Nord-est, in località Cortigo, attraversare la valle del Bozzente e risalire per breve e ripida salita sulla provinciale che congiunge Casatelnuovo con Tradate. Risalire lungo la provinciale verso Castelnuovo fino a svolta re a destra per via del Cimitero. Seguire le indicazioni CB1; dopo una breve salita, ad un bivio lasciare CB1 e svoltare a destra verso sud seguendo il sentiero che passa per "orizzonte verde" fino ad uscire sulla strada provinciale per Appiano Gentile. svoltare a sinistra sulla provinciale e seguiral fino all'indicazione per "san Bartolomeo". Attraversare la frazione di san Bartolomeo, svoltando a destra sul sentiero TR1. seguire TR1 fino alla svolta in direzione sud per prendere TR3. svoltare a destra sempre su TR3 in località "Proverbio" e seguire TR3 fino al centro didattico del parco pineta. giunti al Centro Didattico svoltare a destra e seguire il sentiero che lo costeggia sul lato ovest, proseguendo nel bosco oltre il Centro. in corrispondeza ad un cancello sempre aperto, svoltare sulla sinistra passando vicino ad alcune casette nel bosco; il seniero sfocia su TR2-via Pracallo. girare a destra su via Pracallo proseguendo su via Pracallo fino all'incrocio con TR1-via Villafranca: svoltare a sinistra su TR1. continuare su TR1 fino alla provinciale Tradate-Castelnuovo, attraversarla ed proseguire su via sterrata "dei Noccioli; al termine della via svoltare a destra direttamente nel prato che deve essere costeggiato sulla sinistra fino alla cascina Sanità, in corrispondenza della quale si svolta a sinistra lungo la Stradina Sanità, fino all'incorocio con via dei Cappuccini; svoltare a destra in via Cappuccini e seguirla fino all'incrocio con la strada asfaltata. senza entrare sulla strada, svoltare a sinistra in uno stratto sentiero (VI1), che scende nella valle del Rabau verso il seminario di Venegono (possibile tratto a piedi). seguire VI1, tenendo la destra al bivio sotto al seminario, risalendo la costa (tratto a piedi). seguire VI1 e quindi VS1 fino alla località "Moriggiola" e qui svoltare di 90° a sinistra su BI1 verso "Malpaga" seguendo il percorso fino alla SP21; svoltare a sinistra sulla SP21 per 100mt, e quindi rientrare su sterrato svoltando a destra in corrispondenza ad una stradina dove inizia VO2. si può seguire VO2 fino al rientro al punto di partenza, tenendo la destra in località "Lazzaretto", arrivando alla cascina "Pella" dalla quale si scende al punto di partenza lungo la via "Don Monza"
