Itinerario molto panoramico e molto divertente per i tipi di sentieri che si percorrono. Da Merano si sale alla stazione a valle della Funivia di Merano 2000. Qui prendiamo la funivia che ci porta in pochi minuti a quota 1900. Volendo si può salire pedalando lungo la strada asfaltata e poi sterrata. Dalla funivia si prende un tratto di sterrata, poi un bellissimo sentiero in salita, completamente pedalabile per i più allenati, fino al rif Valcanova (ristoro). Adesso si sale verso il monte catino (volendo si può arrivare fino alla cima con pochi minuti a spinta) e si arriva al rif Mittager (ristoro), da dove ci aspettano 2000 metri di dislivello fino in città. Adesso si scende verso la Oettenbacher alm (ristoro) e poi in piano verso il rif Merano (ristoro). Volendo dal rif Merano si può prendere l'impegnativo sentiero che scende direttamente al rif. Merano. Da qui discesa su forestale fino a Falzeben, poi sul bel sentiero 50 fino alla chiesetta di S. Caterina. Ultimo sentiero tecnico fino a merano

Route very scenic and very entertaining for the types of trails you ride.
