Bell'itinerario che va allascoperta della val d'Ultimo e della malga Castrin al confine fra Alto Adige e Trentino. Da S. Pancrazio si sale prima su asfalto e poi su sentiero fino al lago di Zoccolo. Dopo la quarta galleria è possibile seguire il ssentiero (ultner talweg) fino alla diga artificiale del lago invece di salire su asfalto. Dal lago si sale su forestale fino alle malghe Spitzenalm e Gompenalm (ristori). Da qui un bel sentiero ci porta alla malga castrin. Lunga discesa sul sentiero 8 (in parte nuova forestale) e poi sul bel 28b fino al parcheggio. Bel panorama sui monti circostanti

Nice tour that goes allascoperta of Val d'Ultimo and alpine Castrin the border between South Tyrol and Trentino. From St. Pancras before you climb out of asphalt and then on the path to Lake socket. After the fourth gallery you can follow the ssentiero (Ultner talweg) to the water dam instead of climbing on asphalt. From the lake you climb up to the forest and pastures Spitzenalm Gompenalm (refreshments). From here a beautiful trail leads us to the hut Castrin. Long way down the path 8 (in the new part of the forest) and then the beautiful 28b to the parking lot. Beautiful view of the surrounding mountains
