Il Montesole di Laces è uno dei posti con i sentieri ciclabili più belli di tutto l'Alto Adige, piove molto poco, il clima è secco come i sentieri (in estate anche troppo, fa molto caldo durante il giorno), il sole è spesso presente perciò i sentieri sono ciclabili anche in inverno. Bisogna però avere una buona preparazione tecnica, perchè i sentieri sono piuttosto impegnativi e anche le salite lunghe e ripide. La funivia è aperta alle bici solo fino alle 8.30 e dopo le 16 (2013) e solo per una salita al giorno, a meno di essere ospiti degli alberghi dela zona e avere una guida. Perciò ho studiato questo itinerario con tre salite (una in funivia) e tre belle discese. Da Castelbello si sale sulla strada asfaltata fino a quota 1130 dove comincia il primo sentiero, attenzione a seguire bene la traccia perchè è poco indicato, si arriva alla stazione a valle della funivia. Salita in funivia (attenzione agli orari per biker) e trasferimento su strada e sentiero molto bello e panoramico al maso Patsch. Da qui discesa molto tecnica con infiniti tornanti stretti fino al bivio per Vezzano, poi si risale al castello Annaberg e poi su forestale ripidissima alla strada per S. Martino. Da qui si scende su un impegnativo ma fantastico sentiero tracciato solo per biker fino a dei grandi prati e poi sul sentiero flow 5 per Goldrano e Laces e poi su ciclabile al punto di partenza. Itinerario molto impegnativo ma anche di grande soddisfazione per biker esigenti e allenati. Naturalmente si può fare anche solo una discesa di quelle proposte salendo in funivia oppure fare tutto pedalato. In alternativa chiedere alle guide di Laces per risalite furgonate.
