Credo possa essere definito il miglior giro intorno alle 3 cime di Lavaredo che un biker può fare: salita al rifugio Auronzo, per poi andare al rifugio Piani di Cengia per una vecchia strada militare che parte dalla chiesetta degli alpini dopo il rifugio Auronzo. Attraversamento per il sentiero 101 fino al rifugio Locatelli dove si possono ammirare le Tre Cime di Lavaredo in tutto il suo splendore. Chiusura del giro ad anello per il sentiero 105 fino alla forcella Col di mezzo per ritornare al rifugio Auronzo e guadagnare la discesa a valle.
Abbiamo percorso questo itinerario l'1 novembre 2013 senza trovare pressoché anima viva per tutto il tragitto. Ricordiamo che la traversata attraverso il sentiero 101 fino al Locatelli è vietata alle bici, come anche la zona intorno al rif. Locatelli, pertanto consigliamo di non intraprendere questo itinerario nei mesi "turistici". Altro consiglio: il vero biker è quello che non lascia traccia del suo passaggio in questi luoghi, quindi evitare di danneggiare i sentieri durante il passaggio.
