Routenbeschreibung

This is the route "C" proposed by APT of the Ledro Valley, which reaches Mouth Giumella from Tiarno di Sotto and then with a fun trail leads first pitch and then Giovo Tiarno di Sopra.
From the village of Tiarno di Sotto, follow the signs for Passo Cadre (synonym of Mouth Giumella) and, through the asphalted road that alternates with other cementless rapidly gains altitude and can be reached quite easily Bocca Giumella. Reached the pass takes the road to the left and after a short descent back decisively towards the open basin of Malga Cap, at which you must turn left and follow the path trail quite evident in the meadow that leads us to the forest (a few meters to thrust on the steepest). At this point begins a fun trail, never dangerous and suitable for beginners that leads us to the forest road that climbs from Cimego, which you follow for a short distance up to the Pass of Giovo. From here take the path down to the left (table indicating MTB) and with a series of fun hairpins makes us lose share rapidly up the forest path that will lead us back to Tiarno above.
L ' orientation is always fairly easy, given the presence of wooden tables (although in some cases performing) with an indication of the route "C" for MTB and tables of SAT. The GPX track is not very accurate in the last stretch of the ascent before Giumella Mouth, but this is not a problem since the road is required.
Unfortunately the path down from Passo di Giovo is (at the moment) is blocked in different points by fallen trees last winter and this makes it a bit 'less enjoyable because of the need to dismount to climb over the logs.
Given the relative shortness of the route, you can either add it in laps large (I am party to Riva and the total length goes up to 60Km per 1600 feet of elevation gain) or do it only in the case of the short time available.
E 'can stock up on water at the fountain that is in Tiarno placed on one of the last turns of the climb.
