Si parte dal fondo valle salendo sin da subito i ripidi vicoli di Piaggia. Usciti dal borgo si entra nella zona con uliveti, che si lasciano dopo un bellissimo mezza costa che termina con il sentiero del vecchio acquedotto.
Da qui inizia la salita vera, si supera l'eremo di S. Arcangelo (fontanella), e con ripidi strappi si arriva sulla strada che sale alle Casette della Pigge (fontanella).
Ora inizia il pezzo più bello della salita in una carrareccia poco utilizzata e a tratti con bellissimi panorami sul Monte Serano e il fondovalle.
Usciti dal bosco, si entra in una radura, in cima alla quale è ben evidente un sentiero che entra nella faggeta. Il sentiero con qualche sali e scendi permette di attraversare tutto il faggeto fino ad arrivare sulla "corta" che porta alla Casetta di Ciccaglia. Da qui si potrebbe continuare per tanti altri giri più panoramici.
Rifocillati e pronti per la discesa, si imbocca il sentiero sopra la vasca di raccolta dell'acqua piovana, il sentiero ci porta fino allo stradone. Si risale per circa 40 mt di dislivello fino a imboccare sulla sinistra il sentiero che ci permetterà di tagliare una bella parte di costa della montagna (il sentiero non è pulitissimo ma cmq piacevole con alcuni passaggi tecnici).
Si attraversa l'abitato di Coste La Valle per andare a prendere sulla sinistra un sentiero all'apparenza tranquillo, ma con diversi tratti in forte pendenza. Da poco è stato aperto un prolungamento che con l'asciutto è fattibile in sella dai più esperti (occhio sull'ultimo pezzo, in alternativa scendere per la carrareccia).
Si ritorna verso Trevi, località Malborghetto, per finire il giro scendendo i ripidi terrazzamenti degli oliveti.

It starts from the bottom of the valley, climbing the steep streets from the very beginning of Piaggia. Once out of the village you enter the area with olive trees, which are left after a beautiful hillside that ends with the path of the old aqueduct.
From here begins the real climb, past the hermitage of S. Arcangelo (fontanelle) and comes with steep stretches on the road that goes to the houses of Pigge (fontanelle).
Now begins the most beautiful piece of the climb in a track little used and sometimes with beautiful views over the valley and Monte Serano.
Released from the forest, you enter a clearing, on top of which is a very obvious trail that enters the beech forest. The trail with some ups and downs takes you through all the beech forest until you reach the "short" that leads to the cottage Ciccaglia. From here you could continue for many more laps views.
Refreshed and ready for the descent, take the path on top of the tank to collect rainwater, the trail leads up to the main road. It dates back to about 40 meters in altitude up to take the left path that will allow us to cut a beautiful part of the coast of the mountain (the path is not spotless but Cmq with some nice technical passages).
Cross the village of La Coste Valley to pick up on the left a path seemingly quiet, but with several steep slopes. Recently opened an extension that is feasible with the dry riding by the most experienced (eye on the last piece, alternatively descend to the cart).
You return to Trevi, resorts Malborghetto, ending the ride down the steep terraces of olive groves.
