Routenbeschreibung

Il tracciato e'ovviamente free for all

Itinerary rather long (48 km) between the Castelli Romani, starting from Monte Porzio, so little asphalt dirt roads in the woods among the chestnut groves, trails, meadows, canyons carved by the water ... and stretches of dense vegetation.

Sequence areas: Porzio, Montecompatri, Rocca Priora, Pratoni del Vivaro, Gerri Pian di Grottaferrata, Tusculum and return to Montecompatri
A clarification: before you upload it to your GPS (acquired with a etrex30 and commented with BaseCamp ) I recommend that you evaluate (at Base Camp you see before or Google Earth) tract from the point marked "Warning" to "point B", as by designing the path trace it before looking at maps, tracks, google eart, etc.. Drawing ... that stretch, on the basis of information that seemed to live today ... I discovered that instead they were a little dated and Mother Nature in the meantime it is abundantly recovery path (a nice wall of brambles two meters tall, etc. ) ... so if you do not want to make you like me (who are stubborn) Whether on foot, in the dense vegetation including thorns, branches and mud (about 2 miles) I recommend the "point Warning" to pull straight on the road and reconnect to the GPS track to "point B" ... if you want to then groped the same (it's still fun) I have warned.
This tour is a mix of various traits, maps, trails, etc. . designed ring, you will find in the chestnut roads, trails, and also features on the edge of canyons carved by water SCIVOLOOOOOOSI, many unpaved descents and ascents moooolte dirt with other related fun descents.
And 'certainly tiring, for because of the dirt climbs and long, I would have liked to do, while I was there, we will ride around the mountain of Tusculum, but you want for your time and for miles ... I have already made limited all'affaccio panoramic but ... if you get there with time to breath and a tour of the ruins and around the mountain for sure worth your time.
The track e'ovviamente free for all
