This is the second part of our cycling trip. After a very nice sleep at Monte Pura Vida in São Cristóvão we cycled back to Montemor-o-Novo were we had left our car the day before. Again we followed the signed tracks of the natural reserve. Just a few km after we started the track was closed by an imporvised fence. This was done to keep several cows with new offsprings inside. The cows did not seem friendly because of this and we had to argue with an old lady that she should move her cows out of there, since this was a public area. Reluntly she decided to do it, complaining along about all the restriction imposed by the government. This took us more than one hour and it was getting cloudy. After we passed the cows it started rainning, but not for long. After we arrived at the old train station of Torre da Gadanha, we followed the Ecopista that ends at the old Montemor-o-Novo train station were we had parked the car.
